Office Administrator, Part time Position 20-24/hrs per week
A warm welcoming individual responsible for basic office procedures including but not limited to:
· Answering of phone and directing of calls and/or taking messages to be delivered to proper departments
· Greeting of all visitors
· Ordering of office supplies and stationery
· Assisting the Rabbi with administrative tasks
· Assist with Maintaining and updating Website
· Send out e-blasts as necessary
· Maintaining and updating Master Calendar
· Computer Database Entry
· Manage the Scrip program and make sure enough scrip is on hand
· Synagogue specific related tasks and activities for Holidays and Weekly events
· High Holiday mailings
· Work with bookkeeper on office organization, reviewing monthly congregant statements
· Set up and maintain files for all new and current congregants and prepare new congregants with information
packets and track pledge forms
· Maintain and update employee files and process background checks
· Receiving, preparing and sending out of Gifts of love, trees etc and making sure Donor is billed properly
· Tracking attendance/registration for various events
· Lighting the Sanctuary Yahrzeit lights every Friday and sending related letters out to families and preparing list for
Rabbi
· Schedule/Coordinate Security, Oneg Staff and Maintenance
Salary/Wage consistent with a Non-Profit Entity
