We were met by all sorts of nice people, all arranged by the UJC. All went well with baggage claim and then we were off. A really nice bus, driver and tour guide took us up to Kibbutz Lavi after another hour and a half on the road. Arieh, out guide, spoke about all the places we passed on the way up north. It was dark, though, and we only saw lights of villages and lots of signs that were all in Hebrew. Two things we did recognize - Burger King and McDonalds. We had a nice dinner in the hotel and some of the group went walking to see the kibbutz. Rich and I had to bow out - the plane took its toll on me and I was in no shape to walk any more. Well, tomorrow is another day. Internet service is available here, so expect another post tomorrow night, with info from the day's touring.
