On December 1st, the 4th night of Hanukkah, the Jewish Federation held a virtual Hanukkah menorah lighting, bringing together people from all over the county, while keeping them safe and warm at home.

Clergy members of different sects of the faith, from around the county, told stories, led prayers and songs, and helped the Jewish people of Orange County feel more like a community during these challenging times.

Wendy Cedar, Executive Director of the Federation, welcomed Rabbi Emily Cobert of Temple Sinai to the Middletown community. Wendy highlighted the work Federation does to support Jewish life in the county, to reduce misinformation and hatred in Orange County and beyond. She expressed gratitude for all who support the work of the Federation and for the opportunity to serve.
