In this workshop Ken Packer will share what he has learned in 23 years of searching for his family roots.
During this four week, three session workshop you will learn the basic concepts and skills to trace your family genealogy and history. No prior knowledge or skills are necessary to get started, just a desire to hunt into your past and discover where you and your ancestors are from and how you are related. You will start by charting
what you know by hand and then move into computer based and computer assisted research. Yes, there will be homework to help you accomplish the goal. At the end of the course, you will have the start of a family tree. Caution: Genealogy is Addictive!
