The legendary Red Apple Rest will “come to roost” at Monroe Hadassah’s  next meeting.  Author, Elaine Freed Lindenblatt will share her memories of growing up as the daughter of Reuben Freed, owner of the Red Apple Rest.  She will share the inside story on growing up in this landmark 24/7 eatery on NY Route 17, on the way to “the country.”  Following her entertaining talk with slides, her book, “Stop at the Red Apple” will be available for sale and signing.
