Alan is leading the Cooley litigation team as one of the counsel in Sines et al v. Kessler et al, which is a federal civil rights case brought in the federal court in Charlottesville, Virginia arising out of the violent demonstrations by white nationalist organizations in Charlottesville on August 11-12, 2017. It is currently scheduled for trial on October 25, 2021.
