The award-winning chorus, Ars Choralis, known for its innovative programming, is proud to present "Annelies" by James Whitbourn, an internationally renowned British composer, with Libretto by Melanie Challenger, based on “Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl.” Whitbourn’s haunting, moving music sets the words of her diary for chorus, soprano, and chamber ensemble. Premiered in April 2005, it is the first major choral setting of “Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl.”

Performances will be held on April 18, 2020 at 8pm at SUNY Ulster, 491 Cottekill Rd, Stone Ridge and on April 19, 2020 at 4pm at the Woodstock Jewish Congregation at 1682 Glasco Turnpike, Woodstock.
